Lots of young professionals moving in demanding high quality living accomodations. Which in turns means higher prices.

It’s hilarious that people are actually flocking to live in Nashville itself and not a suburb. Nashville’s crime issues are worse than Memphis’ and it’s only getting worse, half the city is one big ghetto

I would flip more homes, raise rents and make more money.

They have no idea what it means because they have never done it growing up. Parenting style of “yes honey, you can have anything you want” does have drawbacks. You really don’t toughen your kids. And yes, kids are tough if you let them be, but they will choose the easy path if that’s available.

We bought a house right outside of Nashville two years ago. It has appraised for $45,000 more than what we bought it for

Someone please explain the appeal of Nashville to me. I mean that seriously. The city is sprawling, and it looks they’ve torn down every house and replaced it with those hideous condos and houses straight out of the suburbs. Memphis is a much more appealing city, crime aside.
