That's awesome! Tents are the worst trend on the beach and getting ridiculous.

Pick your crap up. If its too hard you are bringing too much crap to the beach.

Agreed. A nice beach umbrella is all you need. Not some 200 square foot space invading tent with your loud trash music blasting.

I've never in my life brought a tent or umbrella to the beach. Then again I don't hang out at public beaches (except grand isle) and the resorts that I visit have someone that I rent my shite from. They set it up and take it down for me.

Even if I lived close to the beach and had to bring my own shite, I'd take it home with me every night. Leaving it out over night is trashy as frick.

I've never set up or take down tents or chairs. I pay extra for people to do that for me.

Never saw them picked up,in GS, but we're back in Pensacola now.

Tbh, I didn't go by the resorts to see if they picked them, but they didn't in the past.

This will be the law in PCB as well b/c they have to be like GS.

Come to think of it, I never paid for any of it.

But it's usually rolled into the price of the condo.

Since when has Panama City Beach tried to emulate Gulf Shores?

I'm glad they're finally getting on this. Every year is a wait for all the trash to head home so we can enjoy the beaches again.

I just bring a towel I never lay on. My daughter and I throw the towels down we call that homebase. Then we surf for a few hours pick up the towels and leave.

Pensacola Beach, my error.

They were talking about it when we were down this year. They had volunteers coming by the house.

Actually where we've stayed for the past several years isn't the long wooden bench thing with cushions but rather a 2 part chair ... the bottom for your legs hooks to the chair so you can have a chair OR a lounge chair.

Just got done doing this couple weeks ago. Pain but you can't have some a-hole built a city and leave it there for the week.

That was probably the Pensacola Beach Ambassadors.

The Leave No Trace Ordinance is being fast tracked.
It was originally proposed to go into effect next year, but looks like it will be sooner. The sooner, the better.

Only trash leaves trash!

Yeah, that's who it wa.
We never left any trash on the beach and we always rent a hose, not a condo.

I don't see how a tent frame that's miles away from the public beach affects anyone, but if it's law, we'll pick it up.
