It's like you are back there.
My girlfriend broke up with me in JR high after a football game.
The top song was Mr Big - To Be with You at the time and someone played it all the way back to school on the bus.
Damn song still reminds me of getting dumped when I hear it at 40 yrs old

I fortunately hate my childhood hometown, so really nothing of it brings up positive or haunting memories. I’ve just decided to purge that town from my mind save for my current friends from there and my grand parents.
It wasn’t a horrible place, nor was I treated badly, but the second I arrived in Oxford freshman year, I knew that was home and I still look at it as home despite not having lived there in 7 years. While I’m thrilled to be moving to Denver soon, my parents recently retired in Oxford, so I doubt my feelings for it will subside anytime soon if ever.
So really only my childhood friends bring up my past. Unless I’m feeling especially morbid or returning for a funeral (this is a certainly saving for a soon death), I don’t want to return... maybe if I’m ridiculously rich for the 20th class reunion, but I’d only return to be a dick to the classmates I didn’t like. Anyone who I did like I communicate with to this day.

I have to say 3 songs do:
Don’t Stop Believing: Class song and we decided on it drunkenly driving backroads one night. We had clout on this.
Your Love: I was the DD to the baseball state championship senior year, and then my drunk friends played it on repeat to annoy the shite out of me. Once we arrived, one of the best times ever. Went to a friend’s condo and got trashed.
Baba O'Riley: Well that’s just high school.

it's the offseason
I always drift over to the O-T in the offseason. It has been a traditon for 14 years for me.
Now for the OP question. No doubt movies and music are big ones for me.
