I thought this was even funnier....

quote:

The World Health Organization (WHO) renamed the disease monkeypox to mpox on November 28, 2022, to reduce stigma, discrimination, and inaccurate associations with monkeys. "Mpox" is now the preferred term, replacing "monkeypox" after a one-year transition period, with both terms used during that time.

No.

As of Friday, there have been over 5,100 confirmed cases in the U.S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

It's transmitted through close physical contact and it's rarely fatal.

Although anyone can get infected, the outbreak appears to have largely affected men who have sex with other men.

Monkey was never going to end us. Simple virus that goes away on its own after a couple of weeks. The clade II mokeypox subtype that was the cause for the outbreak is rarely fatal.

Remember when we were told "just two weeks"?

Remember when we were told "just get the vaccine and Covid goes away"?

Remember when sea level rise would flood Florida and most of the Gulf coast by the year 2000?

Remember when all the computers were going to shut down on 12/31/99?

Remember when we were told the ozone layer was disappearing?

Remember when we were told salt and eggs and red meat were bad for you?

Remember when we were told its only a temporary tax?

We've been being lied to for forever. Its up to you to not accept the lies.

Remember when they stopped reporting on it because a few adopted kids of some gay couples got it?

I remember when just about anything that had never been heard of and didn't even remotely affect more than 99% of the world's population was used to stir fear and anxiety among the dumb masses via multiple MSM outlets. (Say "dumb masses" three times, fast, and it speaks volumes. - Courtesy of Neal Boortz.)

Fear mongering that has yet to be realized in any shape, form, or fashion:
1) New ice age
2) Depletion of the ozone layer due to CFC's
3) Global Warming
4) Climate Change
5) Rising sea levels
6) Covid-19
7) Monkey Pox
8) Hantavirus
9) Ebola
10) West Nile Virus
11) Mad Cow Disease (Unless Hillary is the cow who is mad and you're on her hit list)
12) Bird/Avian Flu
13) Y2K computer crash
etc
etc
etc...

Or Ebola...

We were all going to be bleeding out of every orifice while our insides melted.

I think less than 5 people died.

They got rid of CFCs.

13) Y2K computer crash

They put a lot of effort into fixing computers with only a 2 digit year.
