Most of us were pretty upset that they were released with no bail, on their own recognizance. You’ll never guess what happened.
What a surprise! Any doubt that they’ll never be apprehended?
Most of us were pretty upset that they were released with no bail, on their own recognizance. You’ll never guess what happened.

Two accused drug traffickers busted with 150,000 fentanyl pills during a California traffic stop last month failed to show in court Thursday after being released on cashless bail.
quote:
Defendants Jose Zendejas, 25, and Benito Madrigal, 19 – released on their own recognizance less than 24 hours after their arrest with the large stash of illicit drugs – were scheduled to appear for their arraignments at the Tulare County Courthouse in central California Thursday morning, but failed both men failed to show face.
quote:
Before Thursday, Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux said he did not expect the defendants to show up. He placed blame on the state’s soft-on-crime attitude and so-called criminal justice reform for a policy that allowed the two alleged drug traffickers to go free with nothing but a promise to come to court.
What a surprise! Any doubt that they’ll never be apprehended?

I'm sure the DA asked for a continuance on their behalf.

Cartel probably killed them by now.

They didn’t show up because they have learned their lesson

Tuco got to them first.

George Floyd died from a fentanyl overdose. Just like 65k Americans did last year.

Wouldn't it be a good chance that the drug kingpin they owe for all the fentanyl has chopped off their heads?

By not showing face they are avoiding using the courts time and our tax money. Scholars and gentlemen.

Those two are bird food somewhere in the back country of Sinaloa....another human won't ever see their remains.

The suppliers of Freeway Rick Ross were on the CIA payroll so they could fund the Contra rebels in Nicaragua. Why should anyone be shocked about this? The secretive elements of our government have long been the world's largest drug traffickers.

Just reschedule. They’ll show up to the next one.

No, man.
They were faced with a truly life-struggle dilemma. Show up for court or attend their final exams for their Summer session courses in Brain-Biohacking and 17th Century Humanities.
They chose to take the finals so they wouldn't lose the credit hours and not make the dean's list.

No bail so not only did they let two fentanyl traffickers go free, it also cost them money to do it

Don't worry. These Progressive heroes will vote Democrat in the next election. All that matters.
