I saw Course of Empires in DC,, 1994 all 4 that they have, and then just a print of the 5th

The Course of Empire is my all-time favorite series of paintings

He captured a wild America emotionally. It feels like we can know what America looked like back then and what it felt like to witness it

When I worked at Pottery Barn there was a Chinese art/porcelain book I used to always look at when it wasn’t busy. But I’m not sure if I have a favorite from when I used to weed the 700s

I’d get lost looking at all the books, though
