Regular wiper blades or beams?

Is it worth the extra for beam style?

Low beams on when wipers are on.

I've never found beam style wipers to work well.

Rock Auto for clearance beam style

I like the performance of the beam style when new but none of them seem to last very long anymore.

how to hack
I have an 08 GMC Sierra. I followed the instructions. once you hit that RSS button look at the top of the browser in the address bar. The 7 digit number is your vehicle code. Delete the {ENTER_CAR_CODE_HERE} and insert that number then hit enter. Voila!

Not really, Bosch Icon and Anco blades last pretty much the same for me. I use Rain-X to treat all the glass and use Rain-X washer fluid and that does more than any windshield wiper brand anyway. I do scrub the blade edges with WD40 and glass cleaner every few months. When I was up north, the beam style was the way to go because they were easier to free from ice and snow.

I did this and it doesn't show wiper blades as an option. It's all engine parts.

Ex: Just a blade for my truck that both rock auto and autozone have, the Bosch Evolution. AutoZone has it for $22, RockAuto has it for $8. And that's not a closeout price, that's just typical pricing.
