We never got reminders. It’s up to the new adult to fulfill their legal obligation to register. Ignorance has never been a valid excuse for not following the laws.

Your child is no longer a child. Stop treating them as such and treat them as a grown adult which they now are. Simply tell them the law and they either act like the adult they are and take care of it or your helicopter parenting pays off and they are a useless sack of crap without much of a future w/out mommy and daddy.

Best 12 years of my life. Always tell people if you want to join something, that’s the ticket.

ignorance should always be a factor in understanding the law. The law, currently is a gob of mess .

Why don't you let him fill out the forms?

That’s just one example of evolving technologies that we may or may not be on the forefront.

We have been playing catchup with hypersonic stuff for a few years now and have recently made claims that we are caught up. But who really knows.

None of this is true

Will you go with him when he interviews for a job ?

My son interviewed for a job this weekend with a man who makes $7.2 million a year…but yea, we were invited to be in the room as well.

Its required in order to fill out a FAFSA application. So they pretty much catch everyone they need there.

There won't be any more meat grinder wars for the US. Ground wars are for 3rd world countries. Air and Naval superiority will keep us out of that going forward.

Why did Congress pass a law about automatically registering males for the draft just this week?

Did the law define what a male is?

I can see males identifying as female to avoid the draft.

Most of my client coverage is defense, so I’m somewhat knowledgeable here

There will never be another WW2 type war with heavy US involvement. Next big war will be closer to Starwars than Vietnam. Big shift to autonomy / hypersonic / unmanned.

I hope you’re right. My grandpa and all his brothers were drafted, that would be ironic if that would happen to my boys, too

IDK, but that makes it impossible to fight remotely. Who knows?
