That’s fricking Reddit. Reddit mods can ban you for anything. The admins protect them.

I’ve seen countless example of users being banned because the mods didn’t like their opinion. When asked what rule they broke, the mods mute and permanently ban them.

You can get automatically banned from another sub if you posted even one comment in a sub whose politics they don’t like.

Mods were frequently ban people, steal their content, and repost it themselves to get karma of their own.

The r/news mods deleted every comment during the Orlando night club shooting because they said people were being hateful just because the guy’s ethnicity was mentioned.

BlackPeopleTwitter is one of the largest subs on Reddit and they have threads in which only non-white people can post in. How’s that not an echo chamber?

I’ve been on Reddit for years, and they’ve gotten worse and worse. The mods are power trippers and backed up by their admin friends. So it’s funny when anyone talks shite about another site being an echo chamber while defending Reddit.

Another example. Post on r/science featuring a social science article with mostly deleted comments even though science should be debated

That’s what these monsters do. They gather the weak and powerless, the vulnerable, those who don’t have protection. They use their power and wealth to silence those who would speak out and their influence and connections to avoid any legal retribution of their crimes.

Note that this post was decently upvoted and received some “awards” on a very left leaning sub (r/europe). So much for the “only right wing echo chambers are doing this” argument
