Got a red light ticket over a year ago. Got a couple of notices in the mail blah blah blah... but I have recently gotten two phone calls in the past week from "Transworld" saying I need to pay up. Any of you baws have any experience with this? I was told that it is not an enforceable law. Is this true?
* Yes... I know I shouldn't have run the light*

I had people call me on it to. Just ignored their daily call for a month and it went away. That was a year ago.

Sounds pretty serious. I guess you should pay triple just to make sure you have any extra fees covered.

Refer them to your law firm, Ben Dover, Neal Bob, and Mike Rotch.

How many of these are still active in BR? Most of the ones that I was aware of stopped, years ago.

Put your number on the national do not call registry.
Next time they call, tell them you are on this registry and to stop harassing you.
If they continue calling you keep track of date and time. After many calls, sue em and profit.

I received a ticket in the mail about a month ago, a week later the city of BR sent me a "cancellation notice" and to ignore the ticket, straight into the trash it went.

I got one of those calls a few weeks ago, the lady said "I had to pay immediately." Not trying to sound like a hardo here but I flat out told her "I wasn't going to pay." She followed up with "the sheriff can boot your vehicle", so I told her "sure if they are really worried about my one ticket they will get around to it." She sounded miffed, and then abruptly hung up on me.
Honestly I don't know if this is the right move, but I remembered either WBRZ or the advocate running a story about some dude with $30,000+ amount of unpaid ticket, I figured my $100 ticket wasn't going to be high on any authorities radar, if no one was going after the $30K dude.

Don't pay.
Experian, Equifax and TransUnion informed municipalities and collection agencies that they were to stop sending notices of unpaid red light camera citations by June 15, 2016.

Two words
Don’t pay
You will even get letters from an attorneys office eventually out of Texas. Just ignore.
