Thanks for the pics. My moms family has been going to Grayton every year for 60+ years. Still Remember all of those old butler cottages by name

Don’t worry. Lots of us won’t spend a dime in your inbred state. Alabama is nothing but Florida wannabe when it comes to beaches. Mobile is a good place to stop and take a shite, though.

And just think when Bucee's opens how glorious those pit stops will be.

Locals paying respects, news teams, beer flowing next door at Chiringo

Hoping no 30-A stickers were lost.
Side note here, I saw a car the other morning with two 30A stickers. The typical sunshine one, and another one that was darker without the sunshine. And some other sticker about I ?? some dog breed. And some hippie band name. Plus several other random ones. Really accentuated the back end of that Subaru.

Isn't this the place with 3 entrees? Pass. Much better restaurants in that area.
Posted on 2/13/19 at 9:10 pm to adp
More entrees doesn’t equal more better. Last time we went all three were excellent.
I hope they rebuild. Dread Clampitt on sundays is an institution and one hell of a good time.

At least this place survived the hurricane.
Different part of 30A that I hope remains forgotten.

Given the building was old, but my odds are over 80% it was arson n by either the owner or a pissed off employee/ former employee.
I will say the kitchen was on the left and that mostly survived so it looks like the fire started in the bar/ restaurant. Seems odd to me with modern fire alarms it would burn to the ground like that the fire dept is not that far away really.
But it would not be that hard to fake a fire in a bar.

Louis Louis on 98 is pretty much the same thing.
Personally I won’t lose any sleep. I hated having to go somewhere and wait 2 hours to get a table just to make the family happy.
