How many threads about it being hot do we need this summer. It’s Fawkin hot…it’s August. If you don’t work outside, then stop being a pussy. If you work outside, then you should have found a better job.

This is just ignorant
I can think of at least 10 outside jobs that pay better than a white collar professional

It’s been hotter for a longer period of time than what’s normal, definitely longer than normal in my piece of SE Louisiana, the lack of rain is what’s making it worse. My yard looks like some yard in Arizona.

The United Nations said last week were no longer in a period of Global Warming because we moved up the danger zone and they declared that we are now in a period of Global Boiling.

Only problem though is that the crawfish aren't coming out of the water all red and full of spice.

On a serious note the heat index in Folsom yesterday was a 130 degrees.

It’s summer.

Grow a pair.
I'm pretty sure it's a law that no man wearing a sweater can tell another to grow a pair.

Interesting you all have it so hot, it’s been incredibly mild in Northern California all summer hanging around 70s-80s when we are traditionally seeing 110 plus this time

I can’t imagine how hot it’s going to be in college football stadiums in the south in early September for day games

I haven’t had a drop of rain since July 16th. The lack of rain is doing a number on my garden, shrubs, and 4 year old trees. I water just about everyday but can’t seem to keep up.

You have to get one of these... You can thank me later... Best tool that I ever had...

if that is NOLA, those temps aren't "record breaking".

it's hot, but it's august. i passed by one of the local high schools and saw them practicing football. those kids are having the times of the their lives.

the older you get, the softer you get.

The first three days would be daily records for NOLA. The fourth day would tie the daily record. The other three would all be a couple or so degrees off.

When they use the term "record breaking" they mean daily high temperature records in this instance.
