Recommendations for meeting a friend in NOLA for a few drinks tonight

I haven’t been to NOLA in years and meeting up with a buddy tonight to catch-up over drinks. Either Uptown or in Metry…neither of us are fricking with the CBD or FQ.
We’re both middle aged and looking for something with a good atmosphere. Nothing too crazy.

Dont get Monkey Pox from your friend. Being Gay is okay. Having the Monkey Pox isnt.

-Leave a itinerary list with someone before heading out. Include destinations and how you will get to each point. If they can track your phone all the better.

Ale on Oak. Food is pretty good too.

quote:The CBD on the interstate side of poydras is relatively safe for new orleans, the south market area down to the warehouse district is about as safe as you will get downtown..I'd definitely feel safer there than several spots uptown. Not sure if you see the news here but uptown isn't exactly safe anymore
neither of us are fricking with the CBD
