Recommend a hotel in Chicago with a good happy hour crowd

Going to Chicago for work in March and would like to stay in a hotel that has a good afternoon/night crowd. Stayed in the Lowes the last time I was there which was really nice but the small bar rarely had a crowd of any sort. Needs to be downtown somewhere as my conference is at the Hilton.

Hotel Palomar is attached to Sable, one of the best bourbon bars in the country. It was always hopping around happy hour. That said: all the premier hotels have excellent bars.
If the weather is good you have to check out the rooftop bar at the Trump hotel. I recommend the $24 dry-ice old fashioned.

Drake would be good.
So would The Palmer House.
I stayed at The Swiss Hotel this past summer, and it had good H/H crowds, but that was due to The Palm Restaurant on-site.
I would think both miracle mile Hiltons would be lively as well.
The Westin has a Weber Grill restaurant that's always on a wait and causes a big happy hour spill over.

I like the Public Hotel on the Golden Coast. Not a far walk/Uber from anything either.

I stay with family when I go to Chicago so I've only stayed at one hotel but there is one badass one where the lobby overlooks the harbor and downtown over grant park. If that place has a bar, go there

W city center is cool albeit douchey. The Hyatt Regency on the river has a killer bar and a lot of the young crowd who lives in Aqua and the other nearby condos comes there to start their night.

I was so disappointed when the Hilton's Executive Lounge didn't have free wine and beer available, just food and soft drinks. I guess the Hilton in Rome spoiled me.

Ritz has a nice bar but I have stayed at the Peninsula the last few times I visited Chicago and have been very happy with the bar and restaurant options there.

This is what I was going to post. If you're not white trash, you'll dig it.

Weston Michigan ave is the visiting team hotel for the Cubs, near Hancock tower. I had my young son with me but wanted to check out the bar. Should be full of cleat chasers when the Cubs have a home game.
