Long story short, I got the wrong lady at sport clips and my hair is sticking up like crazy in the back. I have to date never used any hair products before so I have no idea what I need to keep it from sticking up until it grows out. Can someone recommend something that would do the job while looking 'dry' like my hair normally would?

You should just deal with it. Unless you think you're Brad Pitt or something, no one will notice, no one will care.

Wood brush and don't wash it every day. Take a shower still and wet it, but don't use shampoo. The natural oils will help it lay down better.

Sounds like your messed up haircut is gonna ruin your game for a couple of weeks.

No hair product will stop that.
Go ahead and just rub one out, it'll stop sticking up.

Repeat as needed till your hair grows back and you can go get laid.

That's why you don't get a $5 haircut.

You want to get a pomade or wax, preferably something with a medium hold. You basically want something to weigh your hair down. Redkin makes some pretty decent products that don't leave your hair sticky or stiff.

As I've gotten older, my hair has gotten a little wilder. I hate sticky sprays and gels. A barber I went to in Richmond reccomended this and I really like it.

P

It's not like the old fashioned oil based ones. It holds my hair in place and doesn't get "hard". As the day goes on, just pass a wet comb through it and it reactivates it
