Any grill. It's not the grill that makes it come out great. Yeah, some grills can make it a lot easier, but I can cook a perfect steak on a 25 dollar grill. What you can't do on any grill is smoke something properly. That's what I would recommend you spend extra money on.

I concur. Don’t own one personally but a buddy does and he’s had it for over 50 years. I think they are made in Little Rock.

That's what's so nice about the 26" weber kettle. It will do it all fairly well.

Double your budget and buy a BGE. You won't regret it.
I have a BGE myself and love it. In fact, I’m sitting next it to now about to take the meat off. I bought the BGE bc of the unlimited accessories. But I’d recommend any kamado grill over a regular charcoal or gas grill. But it ultimately comes down to personal preference. I don’t like anything with briquettes and I don’t like gas. Lump Charcoal in a kamado will always be my choice. A pellet grill would probably be my second choice bc I like smoking meat and a pellet grill is damn near cheating.

Even smoking meats? I'm not talking smoke flavor...I can partially smoke meats with any grill...but to really smoke something well, you need separate chambers, or a large chamber.

Im not saying it will compete with an offset stick burner or anything. But I've done Boston butts, ribs etc on mine.

I had an older model that grilled beautifully. I don't know how the newer ones cook.

Snaked method on a Weber Kettle works pretty awesome imo.
