Gorgeous car.

When he was dating/first married to my mom, my dad had a black and white '54 Chevy Del Ray. They traded it for a '58.

About 15 years ago in our old neighborhood there was a guy that had a fully restored '54, black and white. I would have killed for it.

Very cool story, cars are great for linking memories.

Thanks, I cannot take credit for building it although I helped. My father built it, took it down to bare metal, Rotisserie restoration, etc.

There’s a guy in St Amant last name Frederick. His dad used to own airline upholstery in Gonzales and did awesome custom work. The son does it now. Ask around if you know anyone in the area. I lost his name and contact.
