Working with handicapped individuals and inmates, we also weren't allowed to wear necklaces or hoop/dangle earrings. Obvious reasons.

I never wear my rings when playing tennis or working out. My jeweler advised me not to in front of my husband as the diamonds can be loosened by hard impacts. If we are going out to dinner after, I usually change clothes so people wouldn't know that my ring was removed for those reasons if they saw me.
It might also be at the jewelry for repair, cleaning, she gained/lost too much weight for it to fit properly... there are plenty of legit reasons without gossiphounds side-eyeing and talking about it.

Yeah I take my ring off when I'm cleaning, working out, showering, or sleeping. Also never wear it when I go camping or doing any outdoorsy stuff.
My jeweler said it's the best thing I could do for my ring.

Had a girl that would wear a rubber ring at crossfit I'm guessing so everyone still knew she was married.

Getting it cleaned. My wife gets it done every year. Takes a day or two.

Nah. She's just wear the ring. Her husband's brother KNOWS she's married, so she wouldn't have to hide it.
She's fricking the guy down at the gym three times a week. Twice on Friday when she knows hubby's going to hit the bar with his buds for a few beers after work.
