Awhile back I posted asking for prayers as I was attempting to kick a long existing addiction. I was able to defeat that demon and the past three days I've failed to maintain that. I woke up Saturday morning to an empty house. My wife had taken my children and left.I really dont wanna put out all the dirt on a public forum but would greatly appreciate any prayers or positive vibes if your not religious. Its early tonight and I'm already in a bad space and would really appreciate it. Never felt a hurt like this before and just cant see any light at the end of this tunnel. It's scary shite... Thank you

Sir, can you please just pull forward to the second window

ETA:

Your last replies before this one when asked

Rate your drunkenness tomorrow when we win..

My wife and kids are on notice for tomorrow.

quote:

My Son watched me cuss Bama, the refs, and Saban so much over his first 7 years that one day he was at the gas station with my Wife and an older gentleman pulled up with Alabama plates while my Wife was getting gas. My son got out of the car and walked over to the guy and said "My Daddy says F@@k Alabama!, He hates em'all!" My wife of course turns 3 shades of red, apologizes and puts him back in the car while the man was literally laughing till he damn near cried! She then promptly called and informed me of what happened! I of course caught hell for a few weeks but, right or wrong, it was one of those proud Father moments!

Hope it turns around for you bud. Feel like I’m drowning as well. Make positive changes, and realize that you can only control your own feelings and actions, not others. Be your best and do what it takes to make that happen. Maybe you need to be selfish a while and focus only on what makes you get to where you need to be. Sorry friend.

You don't need prayers or positive vibes to take ownership for your own poor life choices.

However, I do hope you get your shite together. But only you can change that.

Suck it up and start over before you get too deep again. Better now that a year from now.

I’d leave my spouse and take my kids too if I was married to someone who chose drugs over their family. Sorry, not sorry.

Not sure if there is anything I could say that would help you, but you have a wife and kids.

If possible try to find something to put your focus on.

I’ve said a prayer for you. Depression/addiction is a deep and lonely place so please do not let yourself go through it alone. There is no shame in seeking help.

I was going to say the same thing. Asking for support from people who can directly impact your life, good idea. But faceless people on a message board cannot pray you better.

If it's gotten this bad, it's time to check into a facility, attend a group, something. But the status quo clearly has not been working.
