Gonna need a name here. For research purposes in order to answer your original question of course...

Every A list actor has a huge head proportionate to their body. Even Tom Cruise has a big nice one.

Michael Douglas in Falling Down seemed perfectly real to me.

You're kidding right? Multiple female comedians make their living on imitating what happens on 30A every, freaking day. And for the DV: travel ball moms. Same thing, different financial scale. And every loser dude that believes stuff like, "happy wife happy life."

I want to be like a TV character and never have to go to the restroom.

Knew a doctor in Zachary who we swear was the inspiration for Kramer.

Ali Lauder's character in Landman. Do you know anyone who acts this way in real life?

Dated a girl who looked and acted in a very similar manner. She was popping Adderall like tic tacs. The good times were great, but she could flip in an instant over the smallest thing.

See Beth Dutton as an example. No one acts like that with impunity.

The closest comparison to anyone acting like they do on TV is my sister. She's a belligerent, manipulative a-hole who anytime your around her she tries to stir shite or create some sort of chaos. She's also a successful executive. But even then, she's definitely more toned down than Beth Dutton.

And you're right, no one acts that way with impunity. Everyone in the family keeps a distance from her. My kids even forgot her name and that I even had a sister until we had some family events where we were required to be in the same space. I think I've seen her or talked to her maybe a handful of times over the last 10 years. Each time without fail, some sort of drama would follow that would have the family spinning.

Television characters are way more likely to have big heads and small bodies than real world people.

That's actors/actresses in general.

It has to do with camera angles and framing. A larger head and smaller body frame better and look more appealing on camera.

"Refined" did the exact same thing. And they nailed it. If you've ever watched that show, know that there are multiple characters in that show in every plant up and down the Mississippi River.

That show was about coonass plant workers and rig hands in Texas/LA.

Not white collar paper salesmen in Scranton PA.

I'm talking executing a search warrant in the middle of the day on any of the shows like Law and Order or NCIS. Yeah if you are breaking into a warehouse in secret to see if the bad guys are there that is one thing, but it is often that they break down a door to look for, say, some missing girl and find her in the basement or something. Why would't they turn on the lights?

Also so many actors are mumblers now. I have excellent hearing (I got checked three weeks ago, 99 percent of perfection) but so often I don't understand what they are saying, oftimes because the sound is overly compressed in post production.

And finally could more cops dress like cops? It is not a ladies fashion show and the guys should all be in suits unless the job requires other clothes like a doctors smock.
