Reaching the age where you wear "old man" cologne

It's happening.
I've been wearing the Light Blue for women for years (it's just a concentrated version of the men's).
Recently I have switched to this.
I smell like a WW1 veteran in his prime.
Has anyone else made the transition into your grandfather's haberdashery?

My grandpa had a bottle of Old Spice and a coffee mug filled with the last little parts of old soap bars that he used for shaving.

Old man cologne is just alcohol based after shave.
And men shouldn't wear cologne in these modern hygiene times.

My granddad would splash on a little Dr. Tichenors antiseptic. One time someone gave him a bottle of Halston cologne. It sat unopened on his dresser for years.

Pro tip if there ever eas one.
Slightly more clove in it but mainly just a less diluted scent.
And it's cheaper.

I always thought my dad smelled like an old man wearing this. Now I use it too.

You smell good then, not like an old man. Best product on the planet.

Every once in a while, I will use the Old Spice after shave.

Ok... so I went on Amazon..
And found this:

And found this:

How do I apply it? With hands?
Answer: That's the way, hands on. Only if your hands have extremely heavy callouses. Some good alternatives are... a water buffalo hide, alligator skin, a bears paw, tree bark (preferably pine), rough granite, or in a pinch good ol' sandpaper. Woodsman · September 25, 2017
Yes, with hands for a brisk result jp · March 29, 2016
yes... because I wouldn't know how to any other way? Don E. Goike · March 29, 2016
Yes put the liquid in palms of hands and apply over shaved areas of face and neck Danny · March 29, 2016
Um.. seriously? How do I apply?
