I enjoyed all 5 or so of my trips. Very tranquil and it definitely unlocks certain parts of the brain.

My parents both experimented with LSD in the early-mid 60's, when it was legal and hadn't become a counter-culture phenomenon. Stanford-related. They both committed suicide.

Sorry to hear that.

I’m sure the 1,000 hits of acid is not a gross exaggeration, right?

You guys are very defensive about your drug use, and I’m not even criticizing you. I’m talking about my experience of getting lit every day that I could for 30 years.

If someone reads this and makes a decision not to do it, then I think that’s great.

I wouldn't attempt to eat something a 50's LSD lab experiment imagined/hallucinated up. Wait till she's back down and not talking to the flowers on the wallpaper before sammitching.

LSD done in the proper set and setting with good people is a life changing experience.

You would recommend to your children that they try this life-changing experiment?

Life is better without drugs. Blee Dat

I can respect that and full disclosure is always good. That was an addiction (which we all have to something) and those never end up good.

I have only done it about 20-30 times in my life and I had 1 bad trip that fricked me up nicely. It happens and you can come out the other side a better person or just messed up.

I am believe in the power of a good trip to get you right in life. It has been a good 20 years since my last, but one day again I plan to take that journey again.

Setting isn't really that important.

I had one of the most amazing nights in my life snowed in at the Denver airport while I was tripping my balls off.

I don't know about that. I took some at a Pantera concert and thought the world was ending.

It's not rare. It's been around forever. We watched a tape of it for a sociology class in college in the mid 90's.

I want to go back in time and take lsd with her.

Yeah. Imagine dropping acid for the first time with zero preconceived notions and no clue what to expect.

Setting as in your mind. Tripping when you're a little depressed for instance will be a bad time.

I did a lot of acid in the late 80s and early 90s. But I always took it kind of reverently, expecting to get something a little deeper out of it than just a giggle high. It really helped get my mind right on some things.

It would be really beneficial I believe in treating addiction, from the research I've seen.
