Well not sure the officers income or choice of sunglasses is relevant. You sound like the real dipshit.

Maybe I missed it, but what was he pulled over for. It was a weird interaction.
I watched again looking for the same thing, but the video does not say. It doesn't really matter, though- officer ole boy got out of his truck looking for a fight, too. In the end, the shooting was justified, but the cop didn't do himself any favors in trying to explain and/or de-escalate the situation.

The world is better place without this piece of shite in it. Good job officer.

Would be easier if we just set up a number for these fools to call in. Give them your address and they will go by and put you out of your misery.
357 would be a great number.

There were some dudes seen in the neighborhood walking around with extended magazines showing. Apparently extra patrol were requested in area to be on safe side. Apparently he was pulled over for dark tint and modified muffler. Cop was biased/on edge maybe due to security threats known, should have explained why he pulled him over, but homeboy was too defensive… was just a bad combination and series of unfortunate events

bullshite. Thats the definition of resisting and non compliance and he ended up attacking the officer and grabbing his weapons.

It didn’t have to go that way at the beginning… if cop would have tried to de-escalate and explain what he was doing. After he resisted all bets off.

Cop did very well and he didn't need to do anything more than what was done. The driver was agitated from the get go and was resisting orders and cop was absolutely correct to be on guard from the get go. I felt the cop shouldn't have approached within arm reach with the guy behaving like that.

What was the motive for not simply complying? Was he drunk, drugs in truck, stolen truck, had warrants etc.? I saw a slow motion video of the initial struggle and he reached around the officers back and made a play for the officer gun and missed. It's hard to believe he did all that just because he hates cops and likes to be combative.

These warriors are simply put, fools. Damn fools. Never take into consideration the worst outcome. I would bet $ this young deputy would have told him to be on his way if the guy had gotten out of his vehicle, handed over his license, spoke courteously, and not taken an attitude.
On the other hand, say the deputy was an arse, which he wasn't. The worst that would have happened was that homeboy would have said after it ended without his being killed that this white mother fricker was a prick. Yet he'd be alive and the deputy wouldn't be facing all the fallout from the media and black lives matter and Ben Crump.
Now this jerk's poor family has lost him and will have to mourn.

You could go to either one of the hospitals in Alexandria and wind up dead for a broken finger. The fact the guy died at the hospital is the least surprising thing about this story.

There is a 99.9999999% chance you will survive a police encounter without being shot by complying, even if you're dealing with the shittiest cop in the nation.
This deputy did nothing wrong. The suspect was non-compliant and combative from the start. Don't jump out of the truck on a traffic stop, refuse to follow basic officer commands, then fight the deputy who is now dealing with a combative unknown threat. That's the simplest path to a bad interaction with law enforcement.
They'll clear this deputy, as they should. It's a textbook case of someone turning what is likely a warning or minor traffic ticket into death. Thank God the deputy's body and dash cams picked up the entire incident.

I can give you half a dozen things he did wrong, but none of it makes the shooting any less justified.

The big problem with a LEO in a fight is the fact that the officer has a loaded gun on his person and out of necessity it is readily available. All officers in their basic training are taught to maintain possession of their weapon at all costs, even if deadly force is necessary. I was taught to shoot to kill if a subject took possession of my pepper spray due to the fact I was armed with a firearm and would likely soon be helpless.
