Caddy = most fun to drive/ best looking
Lexus = most reliable, most comfortable, but boring

BMW = only own w/ a warranty & know it’ll lose a TON of money to depreciation

The Cadillac is the easy choice here.

Then the Lexus.

Then that hideous BMW.

That might be too much for someone like me. I shouldn't have something like that.

BMW has completely lost their way in the last 20 years with few exceptions. They get uglier, more complicated, more expensive, and less reliable every time they update them. Some of what BMW considers maintenance, Toyota, GM, and Lexus would consider a catastrophic failure. And they just aren't that fun to drive anymore.

I feel like Cadillac's sedans have become more reliable, more fun, and better looking....just in time for people to reject sedans and only want lame crossovers. Nobody is buying sedans in this segment except for Tesla. I do hear that the V and Blackwing have a wait list even though the regular models don't.

I really like the Lexus LS and always have. It's definitely the most reliable in its class. But it's very boring. It won't make you smile like the Cadillac will. Also a car that's likely going to get canceled soon as sales are way down and people only seem to want crossovers.

I've owned multiple BMWs, but damn what kind of aesthetic are they going for here? Doesn't even look like a BMW.

Peak BMW, and a car I owned, was the E39 generation M5. Sleek, stylish, understated...a true sleeper. The amount of Porsche & Vette drivers whose egos I ruined made the price worth it on its own.

That damn car would be the size of a modern coupe these days. Are people getting that much fatter...what's with the trend of making these sedans the size of small SUVs?

2, most reliable.

1, nice ride, repair bills would kill you.

3, POS. A friend has a Caddy, spends more time in the shop. She traded in one for another, thinks she had a lemon. Nope, both are lemons.

The larger grill does look better on the larger SUVs.

But I legitimately hate the BMW iX.
