well mostly because its not really Shreveport

it would be like ranking NOLA #1 with the caveat that you live in Metairie

i like the Northshore Blanchard area far more than the areas with busted street lights and bars over every window.

because that is how all of Shreveport is, eh?

I meant large in relation to other cities in Louisiana, not on a national scale.

My buddy got married in Shreveport and the bride's dad lived in a really awesome neighborhood. I think it was outside the city because the drive to it was beautiful. The moment you got in the area you knew it was really upscale.

Yeah, people in Shanghai would look at cities like Atlanta and Houston and say, "Wow! I have room to breathe!"

oh

well it certainly "feels" larger than LC, Monroe and Alex

the populations for Shreveport and Laffy are fairly close, and Laffy might just feel larger because its metro is larger

Shreveport is kinda isolated, where as Laffy has Baton Rouge and LC nearby

North Bossier or out off the Southern Loop is where you want to live in Shreveport

I put "Ratchet City" on there as well.

It's in the corp. limit, not Blanchard but a good portion of the "nicer area".

Not all, but excluding the area around downtown adjacent to BC's boardwalk much more of the city than what i would consider liveable.

Lafayette probably just feels bigger to me, because I'm more familiar with it. Although I worked in Shreveport for a little while, I was never really familiar with any downtown or walk-able areas.

yeah I wouldn't consider new orleans a large city Houston is a large city....Chicago is a large city

379,000 people live in NOLA but you dont consider it a large city? Just because it doesnt have 1mil+ doesnt mean it's not a large city.

I'd rather move to another state than live in Monroe, Alexandria, or Shreveport.

It's ranked something like 50th overall in the country in terms of population. Not really "that" large.

Yeah, New Orleans is a large city to me.

shite, Buenos Aires's metro area is over twice that of Houston's. Doesn't make Houston a "medium sized" city.
