I don't drink light beer unless I have to drive, then I drink Bud 55.

Bud Light is pure headache in a bottle for me. Somebody once told me it has a bunch of preservatives or additives that trigger allergies, which Miller Lite doesn't. Not sure if true.

Miller high life in a bottle ranks #1. Miller high life in a can is outside the top 10. All I can contribute since I don’t drink light beer much anymore

But Miller lite is my go to

Guinness Extra Stout and Pilsner Urquell are my go-to's.

No better shot and a beer combo than Guinness with a Jameson chaser, imo.

by go to I mean I can grab them at the convenient store on the way home.

I wonder what would happen if you could somehow combine the two. Maybe drop the shot in the beer. Might be on to something

I haven't done the Boiler Stout yet.

But I did have a Boiler Dog at the Bayou the night after my last final exam at LSU. That's a shot of Wild Turkey dropped in a mug of Turbo Dog. I swear to God, it tasted like a Dr. Pepper.

They don’t make it anymore, but Sam Adams Light was excellent.

Most lite beers taste pretty similar to me. I usually enjoyed just mixing them up for variety (just buy something new every other week or so).

Michelob light (not ultra) is pretty good.

Never thought this would be, but this is heavy in my rotation just to limit calories and overall alcohol consumption. It’s a low enjoyment with low negative consequences option. Always wondered who else drank this stuff (kinda surprised it has a market). Somebody who has to drive later makes sense.

:kige: (does that still work?)

The cylindrically tapered short necks with the blue writing on the bottle, iirc. Ultra ruined Michelob.

Other choices are ten ounce bud light cans and Miller high life from a bottle (not sure if high life is a “light” beer, but close enough)

Whiskey. The only time I drink beer anymore is on a hot day on the water or at the beach.

Not a lite beer fan but I won't turn down a silver bullet or a Busch Latte if offered to me. Guests often leave their extras in my cabin fridge and I've found that shotgunnin a few Bud Lights for breakfast make for a nice buzz and a helluva belch or 20.
