that's far from the biggest problem with GM trucks. As an owner of gmc sierra (with z71 package), run as fast and as far as you can from any gm made vehicle.

TBH that guy is the first I have heard say the Sierra was a POS.
I drove a GMC Yukon until the doors fell off with zero issues. Nearly 300K miles
Only complaint that was legitimate is the 2011 and 2012 GMC's had issues with dashboards cracking

so you rather spend $70k on a new truck that isnt as good as your old truck, instead of spending a few hundred or more to just fix all the issues with your truck?

Do you realize on 4x4 GM trucks that they don’t come with 4-low unless you buy the extra X31 or Z71 package!?
That is kinda chinchy though but sounds exactly like some BS GM would pull. At least the xfer case shift motor won't lock you in 4L when it shits the bed.

I’m in the market for a new half ton. Been researching for about a week now and feel like I’m no closer to a decision than when I started. They all seem to have their drawbacks.
-Tundra gets terrible mpg and has the lowest safety grade.
-Ram is made by Chrysler
-Titan just sucks
-Silverado is kinda ugly and less options than GMC
-Sierra AT4 is the most comfortable and best looking IMO. But I’ve had problems with my previous GM trucks.
-Ford is the okayest I guess. Still rolling the same body style from 08 it seems, but with an ugly new grill. Looks like buck teeth. Also seems to be a good chance of getting a lemon.
And they’re all fricking expensive. Pretty much narrowed it down to Sierra AT4 or F-150 Platinum

That is insane. I am a Ford guy so and am in a '14 truck so I don't have to look for a while.

Found a 2018 Ram 2500
11k miles and they are asking 41,800k
Trade in value is 35k
I figure they have 6 to 7k in profit.. is 36 a unreasonable ask?
