Random STD txt message from stdcheck.com.

So I got a txt message from stdcheck.com last week and it said a partner of mine tested positive for an std and recommendations to go get tested. Obviously I was super fricking paranoid that I for sure had aids. So I went to the nearest urgent care clinic while this snowstorm was going on in br and got it all looked at and squeezed on. They took a piss sample and my results came back negative. Now that's fricked up to prank someone like this. Any success stories??

Would a doctor send you a fricking text message through a website called whosgotcancer.com that read "come see me about that growth, it's important." ??

Although infection rates are high, not all male-male interactions pass disease.

It's always good to know you are negative. I do over 100 of these tests per day and you would not believe how many positives are out there. Please take precautions.

He's not totally clear yet. Can't some of these STD's go undetected for months? And show up at a later test

No

It can take six months to show up on the test. So I guess the good news is that it might not be a prank.

How is it a prank? From an HIV website...
quote:
It can take 3 to 12 weeks for a person’s body to make enough antibodies for an antibody test to detect HIV infection. (In other words, the window period for antibody tests in most people is somewhere between 3 to 12 weeks from the time of infection.)
LINK
So, even though this initial test was negative, depending on when you last had sex with this person(did they say which partner and which std or was it just a vague text?)...you may not completely be in the clear and need to retest later.

Not saying that it is a prank, but would make a Savage prank
I know a few people I could use this on....prank, not actual std

Reporting stds to my county health department is something I do on a daily basis at my job.
I have to go through the patient's chart to see if they got treated (for treatable ones) or if they are seeking care (if they have HIV). I have to read the social worker notes for the HIV cases. Some of those are just really sad. Ex: a woman finds out that not only was her husband of 20 years cheating on her...he also gave her HIV. Or women that were raped and now HIV +. Granted HIV isn't necessarily the death sentence it once was...still a life changing thing.
Lesson to others....protection, protection, protection. You just never know.

It’s extremely unlikely for a man to contract HIV from unprotected sex with a woman. She probably had chlamydia or whatever.
Unless you’re a gay bottom or sharing needles, you’re probably good.

You remember well! How’ve you been? All of your STD tests coming back negative lately?
