That is interesting. I think it is a generational or maybe cultural.
I always have cash. Not crazy amounts of cash? $100 or so. But yeah, I work with a lot of people not that much younger who haven't had cash in years.
Living in NOLA cash is kindof a necessary thing.

I keep whatever watch I wore that day, my field watch, wallet and a few pocket knives I keep in rotation.
Change which I never have goes into an old Jack bottle.

Next to my sink in the bathroom.

I have built-in bookshelves in my bedroom that have a shelf at about waist high level.
Keys and fob are placed there; my wallet stays in my vehicle.
I’ve memorized the information of my two bank cards that I use the most as well as my Passport & DL information.
I’ve been in my present residence almost 14 years. Zero problems or issues with anyone’s property or security in my neighborhood. It is really nice to not have a constant worry about your safety or the security of your property.

Keys go on the key holder in the kitchen, wallet goes next to my bathroom sink, Ruger LCR goes in the top drawer next to the bed.

My Butler takes care of it as I hand him my clothes from the day. What he does with it doesn’t matter to me. If I need something from it I just ring the bell and he will go get whatever I need.
