Baws gotta have that showpiece to park in the driveway of their 200k house so they can drive the 100 mile commute on the HWY. Good thingnjrs built for rugged terrain

I like the rotary dial. Why put a fake lever to shift a sealed tranny with an electric position selector?

Hasn't been a Dodge truck made since 2008.

The dodge fanboys in here sure are sensitive.

I even complimented the truck but just didn't like the interior and still got a bunch of downvotes.

Could be worse. The pull/push buttons on the new Tahoe's are horrendous.

700hp is fine, but the Raptor is a bottom up build focused on suspension and balance.

did they do that?

or did they just do the normal Redneck dodge thing and just put a big motor in a turd of a truck?

As bad arse as this thing is I could never justify owning one. There are videos out on TFL where the engineering discuss building the truck. It is truly remarkable what they did to this thing. It will be interesting next year with the new Raptor and GM's desert runner trucks coming out.

Are they going to offer a V8 for the new Raptors again?

I hope it's a bi-turbo version of the GT350's 5.2

You really don't notice it after a day or 2. I mean shite they are all electric switches now anyway I don't see what difference a dial, or a lever, or a push button on the steering wheel matters really.

My old one was a 2007 and it didn't say Dodge on it anywhere but the title. Nothing on the truck said Dodge even back then.

Never understood the hate. It's small, out of the way, brainlessly simple to use and it contributes to the ridiculous amount of interior storage that newer Rams have because they don't have a giant unnecessary dildo of a shifter taking up half the center console.

When I shift my truck into drive, I dont want to make the same motion my wife makes when she sets the washing machine.

And if you look at a shifter and think dildo, I'm not sure what that says about you.

From what I heard the Raptor is still gonna have the hopped up 3.5 Eco. Granted that is a legit motor, it will not hold a candle to this Ram truck as far as HP is concerned.

having a shifter makes you feel manly?

I had the knob on my last truck and loved it. I wish they had them on the 2500 because the shifter is useless and takes up unnecessary space.
