Yeah people who think any city is the next “Tech Hub” with be miserably disappointed. However that’s shouldn’t stop anyone from trying to attract any type of business to hurting areas, including tech jobs.

I'm excited to see the Louisiana Tesla edition pick-up truck complete with gun rack + rod holders.

Elon Musk is mad and threatened to leave California because their Dickhead in Charge will not open the state back up. Has LA's Dickhead in Charge got LA open yet?
Do you see the problem?

Tesla in Bawcomville. What could go wrong?

Elon looked at building SpaceX on the Mississippi cost a couple years ago, had an LSU grad do the tour and give the presentation...

That might be the most asinine voter pandering thing I have ever read. Tesla isn't moving its HQ to northern Louisiana anymore than it is coming to Jackson MS.

People laughed at Alabama recruiting Mercedes Benz 25 years ago.
Now, Alabama has Mercedes, Honda, Hyundai, and upcoming Toyota/Mazda
Totally different. Those are not tech based companies who are obsessed with having a "cool" image. And Alabama didn't land the Mercedes HQ. Wherever Musk moves the HQ is going to be a place he would want to actually live. Austin TX would be my best guess for the HQ.

Great for him. He should recruit every politician in Louisiana to send a letter and tell him to look at relocating to Louisiana.
That being said, he’d be stepping into the lion’s den if he moves to Louisiana where politicians can’t see beyond oil & gas.
Also, the infrastructure Tesla has in their current plant would not make it cost effective to move. But hey, maybe we can get the solar roof tile plant or something like that here.

Louisiana would rape Tesla with the corruption.

it’s rispone’s fault that Abraham supporters either didn’t vote or voted for Edwards out of spite that Abraham didn’t get the nod?
South Louisiana didn't want to vote for somebody from north of I-10, so they voted for Louisiana's version of Ross Perot.

There's another dumbass somewhere that ran on that??
Yeah but the guy youre referring to is actually a business man. Unless youre trying to say that he and rispone are of equal business skill

I wonder how much JBE taxed him for sending that letter.

Maybe not, but, as a voter, guess who's name I'm going to remember for the future and why I'm going to remember it.
Get it?

affordable quality of life
Its an affordable life. I wouldn't necessarily characterize it as "quality". Although, North LA may give Musk a good intro to what his future life on Mars would be like. Good proving grounds for going extended periods of time without any sign of intelligent life.
