No divorces from grandparents, aunts, uncles, or parents on both sides of me and my wife's families. My sister did wind up getting divorced.

I'm still married to my wife (less than a decade)

My parents were divorced

My grandparents and great-grandparents all stayed married. Just a different generation than what you have now.

My wife could raise her hand though - her parents and grandparents never divorced.

My life hasn't be "tough" by any stretch of the imagination - but dealing with divorced parents has always been my life. Seeing the other side (my wife's family) - man, definitely prefer that vs. what I was raised on.

Hand raised.

In fact, both sets of grandparents stayed married, although my paternal grandfather was widowed twice. A car accident and cancer claimed his two wives before I was born.

None of my parents or grandparents got divorced. But the times were different back in the day when my grandparents were alive. Rumors of cast iron skillets being used by my grandma when paps stepped out of line.
