Mardi Gras is quite possibly the trashiest holiday there is. Nothing but a bunch of drunk cigarette smoking white trash going fricking nuts over stupid parades that they get up way too early for. Then there’s king cakes. Stuffed or not, they all fricking suck. Everything about the season is very over rated. Mardi Gras is trashy.

I dont hate it, dont get excited about it though.
Usually get dragged to one ball and a couple parades the week before

Not really a fan of it.
Went to ball few years ago, cost me around 1k and it sucked.
Not a fan of free activities that cater to the poors (parades)
So yeah MG can get fricked for all I care.

I agree it's nice to get out of town the week of Mardi Gras though. By then we've done our balls, rode in a parade, and caught several parades. I like to go somewhere at that point if work allows it.
