I'm looking for a light weight rain jacket that works with both business casual and jeans/khakis on the weekends. So nothing flashy. I'm not going hiking or camping with it either so it doesn't need to be super high performance.

Any recommendations?

I assume you want a hood?

If so, it's pretty impossible to get a biz casual rain jacket with a hood, so just get something simple, like a black Patagonia torrentshell

I really like my slate gray Patagonia for lightweight protection.

For more serious engagements my Barbour Beaufort is my preference.

I have a light Columbia rain jacket that does an exceptional job of keeping me dry. It was about $40 on amazon. But I work in engineering/construction, so it works out in the field for me.

But it's not like you'll be wearing it inside your office, so it doesn't really need to go with your business attire IMO.

I've got one of those too, exactly what I wanted and surprisingly inexpensive for a good quality Colombia jacket.

I own a Kühl Saboteur which I use for exactly what you describe. Doesn't look out of place in the office like you just came out of the woods backpacking. Works great with jeans or business casual. I think the stowaway hood really makes it look dressier then a normal hooded rain jacket.

ETA much of Kühl's lineup would fit your requirements if you want to step out of the TNF/Patagonia/Marmot that you see most people in. Great clothing.
