The weather people in this town are COMPLETELY incompetent. They have absolutely no ability to predict ANY weather events. I wish I could do as shitty a job as they do and stay employed.

Aren’t BR forecasters somewhat handcuffed right now with poor Doppler positioning and it’s supposed to be improving any time now?

Though I don't go the way of shitting on mets, the radar and where it is positioned has nothing at all to do with forecasting.

I can solve this for you. It's really simple, actually.
Period when it's raining every day: 20% or greater forecast = 80% or greater actual chance
Dry period, drought: 80% or less forecast= 20% or less actual chance
Period when it's raining every day: 20% or greater forecast = 80% or greater actual chance
