Luling, LA…about 5 minutes later, at the Gassen St. crossing. About 300 people were there for the 25 minute stop.

She will pass through Hahnville again Sunday on her return to Cheyenne, so I’ll get better pics then.

I’lll use the DSLR on the second go round (used iPad Pro 12.9 gen-4 for the ones posted), however I can’t guarantee RogerTheShrubber level photography…

I’ll also get some tomorrow from Audubon Park.

I saw it pass as I drove over Airline Dr. on Causeway about 45 minutes ago. That's a big arse locomotive and awesome.

Just snapped this photo of New Orleans from @Space_Station as we flew over at 2:50PM CDT. So, I think #UP4014 is in this shot! Anyone see it? #BigBoy2021

Saw it this past Sunday. It stopped in our fair burg for about 15 minutes. When it goes by you can feel the heat from the engine. Go see it if you can.

It says it arrives at 715PM to the fly but that does not seems to be the case considering it’s a couple miles away.

it's making its turn so it'll be facing back towards the way it came in

and trains aren't known for their pinpoint ability at 3-point turns... so that'll take a bit

I wonder how many of those people are just pacing the train and not like going home from work or whatnot
