He had the audacity to unlock the door at his own business. It's a shame that anyplace in the United States of America has this much bigotry and intolerance. We should expel this s-hole from the Union.

I don't see anything at all wrong with the way that was handled. They say he was testing the security system, so I am guessing he set the alarm off. Police came and verified that he was supposed to be there. Sounds like the perfect response in that situation.

I’ve had cops called on me before for stupid shite like this and I’m white as can be.
Cops also rest their hands on their belt, often on top of their gun on one side.
This is another bullshite nonstory trying to create a false narrative. I don’t know how anyone works for SFPD. God bless those baws.

Story seems to indicate somebody called them - otherwise the cops just would have said "Alarm went off".
I find it more interesting that calling the cops on black folk for no good reason seems to be a common theme in San Francisco. Same people who call the rest of us racist deplorables.

White liberals are the most racist group in the country. Pretty much everything they do is along the lines of “muh black and Hispanic people are too stupid and poor to do XYZ”.

OP is racist. I’ve gone to my office at 2 am because alarm went off in Baton Rouge. Side door was left open by warehouse guy so I had to prove that I worked there as well as I beat the cops there. Nothing wrong with cops asking the person on the premises to verify his/her id especially when they are there before the cops. F the OP

If the alarm went off then the alarm company notified dispatch and officers were called.
They verified the owner was the owner because, well, that’s their job.
You know, like to make sure the owner isn’t an actual burglar.

the only racist thing about all this is the OP's insane claims it is somehow racism that cops investigate who set off the alarms, and the fact he wasnt shot on sight proves the cops didnt over react and followed their training.
the claims of "had his hand on his gun" are you frickin kidding me???????? with all the calls by racists blacks to kill cops they have the audacity to question a cop taking a defensive stance when dealing a suspected burglar with unknown intentions

as a business owner, he should be thrilled that people would report suspicious activity outside his business.
If someone had been breaking in, and people saw and didn’t report it, he would say it’s because he is a black business owner and people just let it happen.

The racist was whoever called them (the article suggest it was a call, not the alarm). And the point of the thread is the irony of white progs constantly calling the cops on black people.

Dad says that people (of every race) who contribute positively to society don't have time to discuss race every day because they have other more important things to do. He also says that those who discuss race all the time are almost always non-contributors to society.
