Don't buy that bullshite just because he posts it. Trying to get more diverse applicants has resulted in lower standards.

Surgical critical care. Had planned on doing it 4 years ago, but things fell through (rrc didn't approve the program) so went private practice. Circling back.

That's awesome. I enjoy most of the cities in Florida, it's honestly where I want to stay, but MATCH sends you wherever so we'll see.

We have people who argue about ADHD medication for children,

I'd argue this because it's over diagnosed. Can't get paid for O.D.D. or Conduct Disorder last I heard.

No, I think it just makes you anti-Semitic

Nice opening. Inset any noun in place of "medicine" and you have news for 2016

It's hilarious how she doesn't bring up doctors treating minority patients differently at all, but instead talks about herself and her "struggles" the entire time.

What's weird about is that she's the daughter of African immigrants.

Actually, it holds true for black physicians too.

Yeah, I started to read but lost interest.

According to her standards I endured horrific abuse in my high school job at a Mexican rrstaurant . .

I spend more time with people who are nice and fun to talk to

Black, white, green, or otherwise, if you're a decent human being you're going to have a more favorable experience with doctors. It's just human nature. Be nice to people who are trying to help you.

Fortunately the research to which I refer are not single case studies.

That is rich.

A person who revels in being known as a "person of color" is offended when called a "colored girl."

Hmmm well that's an issue. It also blows up that argument for lowered admission standards for that purpose.

Two things:

1) her interpretation of cultural sensitivity training done in medical school is all wrong. They don't teach you to stand up for your own disenfranchisement to patients, rather they tell you to accept the patient's culture when factoring in how you interact and treat them. So the Physician in her "colored girl" story was actually doing everything that medical schools teach you to do now a days. She was being understanding of some old racist white lady from Virginia's worldview...

2) This is the only thing "racist" about medicine
