So to remedy the fact that it used to be slave quarters they're going to...remove all evidence that it was ever slave quarters? Sounds a bit revisionist to me. Muh statues!

That’s dumb. How about say “Hey, slavery happened in New Orleans. And that was a terrible thing. But we can remember what happened and look at it now as a reminder of how far we have come since.” Not “erase all evidence and it magically makes everything better and makes it where slavery never happened.”

Wonder how much of history will be erased... Even bad history is still important

I'm confused. Many historical sites have been boycotted for not including slavery in displays and re-enactments.

What is the official rule? I need to know

I cant forget about slavery because people simply wont fricking let me forget about it.

I’m ready anytime everyone else is to move to second base. Been on first base with this race shite since the 1960s. I’d really like to see what second base looks like, but it seems few actually want to take the base. Can someone please hit a grounder in the gap. Who knows, maybe we can eventually score a run.

All of these auction blocks, plaques, statues, and other important relics of history are going to show up in museums, garnering even more attention then they had just sitting in the public.

Actually things were fairly OK from the late '70s through the Reagan '80s. Clinton's administration was fairly bad but of course it was Obama supporting identity politics shakedowns that set race relations back 50 years.

It’s an awesome venue inside. They have a pool and all. It’s a great party venue.
