Have people never seen an animal with wolf worms?

I've seen lots of animal species with bad wolf worm infestations. Rabbits, rats, squirrels. Ive even gotten them out of cats before. Whatever it is those rabbits have it for damn sure isn't wolf worms.

The only reason I have a clue what this is is because I saw it on the old looney tunes cartoon. Pretty amazing that has stuck with me all these years!

I need to find that strip of Dork Tower where the main character talked about how he Dungeon Mastered a game where the players managed to summon elder gods like Cthulhu… while playing Burrows And Bunnies.

Rabbits everywhere get wolves in the summer. That looks like some bad cases, but that's what it is. It's similar to a bot fly larvae.
