On a nationwide basis, we are in a spike of new cases, whether it’s because of more testing or protests or whatever. Spike began at least two weeks ago. Should the deaths be showing now, or in the future, or is the lack of a spike in new deaths a result of the new cases being mostly younger people?

I read somewhere that the average duration before death is like 16 days. Think about it anyway. Bunch of nursing home and sick people are the ones dying

The 16 day thing was back in April. Probably been revised by now. Won’t die until late October, early November I suspect. Only fix is voting democrat

By and large, this thing is killing the very old and the people with serious health problems. A bunch of young people getting infected is not going to move the death needle.

If you look at the trends deaths aren't falling at near the rate they were.

The 23rd marked the first day that daily corona deaths were lower than they were a week prior. (Days since have been lower than 7 days prior, but it shows a slowdown)

I know the daily Tigerdropping tracker didn't show that for a reason...

Deaths will likely increase. Doesn't mean it is the end of the world.

The death rate for Covid is very low. Lower than the average seasonal flu.

It’s also summer so people are out being active and they’re getting more Vitamin D.

We're two weeks behind Italy and we just need to flatten the curve.

We probably won't wind up any better off than Italy

Italy is beginning to open up quick. We will likely see an uptick in italy if young people go out.

Berlin is seeing a rise in cases after opening.

Well, it’s not because of the protests

Hospitals told me so

Gathering in large groups and voting democrat makes you immune to Covid.

CNN told me so.

I saw only 59% of those diagnosed with covid even answered the call from the contact tracers.

Oh yeah, we have a firm grasp on clusters.

No one knows yet.

The big spike in NY deaths/hospitalizations happened about 4-5 weeks after the period of rapid community spread (first two weeks of March).

So, it's really too early to tell.

Hopefully, the combination of better treatment methods now and perhaps the virus weakening a bit will mean current areas with widespread cases avoid that.

I’m pretty sure that they’re not sending COVID infected patients into nursing homes anymore like NY, so I think we’ll be ok

What's really sad is that doomers want people to die so they can be right. If I was wrong and more people survived and were healthy I wouldn't throw a bitch fit.
