So you're saying the Officer Salamoni should have let Sterling get his gun?

Man this trial has really grinded some gears

Not just the trial, mouth breather, what happened in Columbus last night has alot to do with it. There are people legitimately blaming a cop for killing a piece of shite who was in the process of stabbing another person. The Columbus, OH City Council have already laid the groundwork to pay the sorry arse family, including the guy who kicked a child in the head when she was on the ground.

I don't think you know what this means. qa jury of 12 only convicted bc of all the extenuating circumstances surrounding this trial

Wait, it's your opinion that a guy fighting cops, trying to grab a firearm shouldn't be stopped?

What? This is standard protocol in every police department in the nation.

Do you know why?

Because it signaled the return to mob rule.

That wasn't justice. That was a predecided event. Most feel he was guilty of manslaughter at the most, but the verdict HAD to be guilty on all three counts to stop the rioting and violence that would have occurred later.

I doubt you're bright enough to get it.

While I agree he should have been found guilty, the pressure on that jury was huge......

Pointing a gun, refusing to put down a gun. Cop shot a black guy in Dallas 2 days ago but the guy pointed what turned out to be a replica gun at the cop. Everyone including BLM is OK with that.

Race doesn't really matter.

A cop should only use lethal force when it is absolutely necessary and as a last resort. For example, if the suspect has pulled a gun or reaches for a gun.

Cops who use lethal force when unnecessary aren't always straight up murderers, but they do deserve to face repercussions for those actions, including a criminal conviction if the case is egregious enough.

I am waiting for a juror to say they were afraid for their life if they found not guilty because of the media providing biographies of the jurors.

it was always going to be. it was very public murder that was entirely avoidable, filmed by at least 8 angles with overwhelming medical and personal testimony damning the defendant. The fact that the proof was so far beyond reasonable doubt probably helped relieve some of the pressure.
