Suburbs are just the worst. They lack the opportunities and fun of the big city while also lacking the freedom of rural areas. I could go full coonass or full urban hipster, but f$&k no to this suburban yuppie crap.

Suburbs generally offer a better quality of life for families. Better schools, lower crime, less traffic. We live in the city but I miss living in a little quiet suburban neighborhood sometimes. I'm in my early 40s and don't really care that much about nightlife anymore.

If we are talking about big cities like Houston or Nashville, the suburbs often have most of the amenities that the city does without many of the problems.

The downside is usually the commute to work.

Some situations I’m an introvert but mainly and extrovert. I live on my own 20 acres and lease the 1000 acres around me.

Try Shreveport cowboy fans They for some reason think saints/cowboys is a HUGE rivalry..Some days I can't wear saints gear without catching unsolicited crap from a cowboys fan...I had a pizza guy see my saints shirt as he delivered my pizza and launched into all the reasons the cowboys are having a better season than the saints really..... Really?? give me my pizza and go on about your sad life

Not sure what I am.... I can be introverted or extroverted depending on the situation. But I am a city guy.

Same. Really depends on the situation, but being around people doesn’t bother me at all. City all the way for me. Lafayette is too damn small/spread out.

Keep in mind I'm using the "classic" definition of introvert/extrovert.

Introvert: You can be around people, and can enjoy doing so, but you need time by yourself afterwords to "recharge."

Extrovert: You "recharge" by being around people and lots of social interaction. You still can enjoy quiet time on your own, but eventually need that social interaction.

Grew up in Gonzales my entire life. Always went to Baton Rouge because it was so close. Hated every minute of it. Too many damn people and the traffic is just awful.

Now I live in the woods outside of Monroe and I love it. Peaceful and quiet and if I need to go to the city of Monroe, it isn’t as crazy as BR on a typical day.

I’m taking the country all day and everyday.

Good city that gets better by the day -- And I say that as someone who is not from Knoxville or TN.

You could do a lot worse.

My trip to Knoxville was my favorite away game experience in Tiger Band. I can't wait to go back and really explore the city.

I'm an extrovert, would prefer country or small town but live in a small city.

Lot of folks I know know that are extroverts like a private, quiet home life but spend work and some leisure time in the city.

Born and raised in br, loved the small City Life until it was ruined with dat cultcha.

Have since moved to the country and see no reason to ever be subjected to the inner city garbage way of life again.

Enjoy that inner city traffic, rush hour here might be 3 cars on the main stretch within a minute of each other. That's bliss.

I live in the country. Extrovert. Always get an itching for the city when I head back home to FL. Then I get stuck in traffic and it takes an HR AND half to get to Tropicana field. I like Knoxville if all the big orange shite would disappear. Lol. You win some you lose some.

I'd prefer to live in the country.
Unreliable power: genset with power conditioning.
Sucky water: water processing unit.
No cable tv: thats what dtv and dish are dor.
No high speed inet: not a damned thing you can do about it.
Lack of good internet is the only drawback.

It's not 1990 anymore.

The country has everything you just listed under normal conditions.

High-speed internet and cable is everywhere

A triple jar water filter is $22 on Amazon
