Do all of you wear scrubs at unnecessary times or is it just the assholes? TIA

What do you count as an unnecessary time?

I don't understand people's hatred for scrubs. I'm slightly jealous I can't wear them sitting at my desk all day.

i like to wear my work scrubs to the bar and tell chicks I save lives

I mean you never know, if I didn't serve them lunch, one of the hospital employees could starve to death

If I could wear scrubs to work everyday, I would.

I don't blame them one bit.

Surprised at the downvotes. In a non medical setting, I've always figured it was a look at me douche move.

I find scrubs odd in an office setting.

Scrubs are a turn on for me, plus they look real comfy. Win-win. Bet there's no clothes underneath

As a resident, I would be too tired to home and change. You don't really GAF what people think when your working 80-100 hours a week.

Now, I will wear them when I'm on ortho trauma call back and forth to work. You would too if you had to deal with blood and pus on your clothes. I never wear them out though.

This is exactly what I rag on my brother for. He's an eye doctor, not a surgeon. No reason to not dress professionally.

I wear the pants all the time. Only time I'll wear them outside of work is if I'm going get drinks or dinner and I don't have time to change.

but for real though, you can always tell who is a low level lackey like a male nurse, janitor, etc if they wear scrubs. all the real doctors are wearing a shirt, tie, and whitecoat for most of the time unless they are going into surgery

I wear scrubs around the house all the time. If for some reason I have to go out, it's gonna be in those scrubs. If I have some yard work to do, I'll prolly be wearing jeans and a scrub top. They're comfy and I like them. If you got a problem with that, suck my balls.

It all depends on your work schedule. When I had hospital privileges (gave them up to do outpatient work), it was a pain to bring a change of clothes all the time.

It's just easier.

How many of you bring a change of clothes to work every day?

Do y'all status judge each others' scrubs like you do business cards?
