Let’s assume your wife has a monkey. Let’s assume it gets dirty. How does she wash it?

This monkey (apparently not owned by a female) prefers to be cleaned in a public pool. Is this public monkey washing an “Indian” thing? Or is it done here in the US?

No longer a dirty monkey.

Here is some more information for those that don’t want to click the link:

quote:

May 25 (UPI) -- A visitor to a public pool in India captured video of an unusual fellow regular -- a wild monkey that frequently shows up for a swim. A guest at the Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj swimming pool in Pune, Maharashtra, shared video of the wild monkey swimming laps in the pool to beat the May heat.

The video shows the monkey swimming, surfing atop a float and relaxing poolside while drying its fur.

One of my friend's growing up mom went to college at Tech in the 70s. She asked her dad would he buy her a bicycle as part of her graduation gift so that she would have something to get around campus on. Well the story goes that somehow or another the roommate she had ended up buying a pet monkey and when she moved out my friend's mom ended up taking care of it. The monkey ended up catching the mange or something and she needed a little extra money that month to buy some medicine for it. Well she called her dad and said
"Daddy, you think I can have a little extra money this month? My monkey's hair is falling out and I need to buy it some medicine."

He said
"Well baby, all I can tell you to do is maybe not ride that bicycle so damn much."

You’ve never seen a picture of the monkeys in Japan that soak in the hot springs? They used a shot of them for one of the “Most Interesting Man in the World” commercials.

Why Can't You Do It?
Why can't you set your monkey free?
Always giving in to it -
Do you love the monkey or do you love me?
Why can't you do it
Why do i have to share my baby with a monkey?

At first I thought I was reading about an Indian lady washing her cooch in a pool.

Nice recovery OP.

No one here under 45 years old gets that reference, but I use it all the time.

METV has WKRP every night at 830, right after Andy Griffith and Gomer Pyle.
