Did you know that DTL was a pipefitter for Turner and was working at Dow Plaquemine (right near you) at the time he was captured? He was a strong motherfricker. In fact, the boots he wore to work matched the same prints they had at some of the murder scenes.

Not 100% accurate. I am a FORMER pro athlete, I am retired. And never dabbled in the fitness model industry.

Was he working there the whole time? I remember when he killed that girl in Brusly. I remember reading something about him working construction, but didn't realize he was a pipefitter for Turner.

Yeah, pretty mind boggling knowing that there were two active serial killers in the BR area at the same time. I read a book on the white guy. Think his same was Sean Vincent Gillis. He was a weird cat.

Yep. That's where the connection came from with the girl from Brusly and I believe there was another one on the west side too. Put it this way, he could take a 200 lb valve on a rope and pull it up to the 3rd deck of a structure by hand. He had retarded strength. Normally, you'd use a crane to hoist a valve up like that.

It sure sucked being a white guy driving around in a single cab, white truck at that time.

And from what I understand there was no surprise he was a serial killer, but I really don't know much about that case. Do you remember the title of the book?
