What more reason does he need? He actually retreats in the video, and the dude not only keeps antagonizing, but advances on him several times, then takes off his shirt, then verbally threatens him again while advancing to within like three feet of him. And he fires once and the guy is subdued and he doesn't fire again.
I guess it boils down to where this happened, but that should be textbook self-defense. And he lowers the gun to avoid shooting him in the face or chest...that actually seems like more of an argument for self-defense as well.
Why is shooting him in the leg dumb IYO?
