i saw them open for Primus back in the early 90's in Pensacola, and they were so bad they got boo'd offstage 1/2 way through their set - the lead even tripped on the cords on the stage. they were terrible - no real surprise here

I promise this to be a 100% true story:
I was waiting tables at Chili’s in Baton Rouge during college. One day I was putting my table’s order into the computer when a homeless man walked up and asked me for a lighter. I looked at him disgusted and said “no; i don’t smoke” and walked away. Then my coworker stopped me and said “do you know who that is? It’s the lead singer for Puddle of Mudd!”.
I legitimately thought he was homeless. Turns out Puddle of Mudd was in town to play a show... at Blue Bayou Water Park. And they ate at Chili’s first.

frick those guys. They were supposed to open up for Godsmack and Deftones in New Orleans back in 2001 or so, but blew off the concert to go be on TRL with Carson Daly.

Made the mistake of seeing puddle of mudd at southport hall years ago. The lead singer was so messed up on drugs he could barely talk and stand. Im honestly surprised he is still alive. Almost as bad as trapt live. Same drug issues and we left two songs in.

I always found Nirvana bad so it kinda sounds the same to me. Yeah teen spirit was cool and groundbreaking when it came out but all their other stuff just sucks.

It's definitely an age thing. I would never expect college aged kids today to like grunge. It was a unique sound for unique time.
