According to OP, Baton rouge has one of the top public high schools in the state

The fact that you're from Alec is "personal"? Sheesh...

Yes, there's one good magnet school here and it's a very good school. All the other public schools here are shite. Really not up for debate. Y'all have way more options for public schooling in CENLA, and throughout the state for that matter, than BR.

Public school education in Alex >>> Public school education in B.R. FWIW
Well duh, but they're still from Alex.

Did this make sense in your head?

I have some friends that did this with their kid. They ended up doing his homework for him just so he could get into college.

Perfect example of the spoiled, lazy kid that went to episcopal. Pretty much proves my point that it doesnt matter if you go to private or public school, youre still 26 years old living at your parents house unemployed.

yall have more options for public schooling

So is Sacred Heart considered the best girls' school in NOLA?
I'd put McGehee ahead of Sacred Heart.

That isnt the schools fault. You really dont need school at all. I couldve learned everything that i did in high school on the internet. Private schools are glorified babysitters for white kids so that they dont have to be tainted by those damn minorities or start smoking that devils lettuce. Huge waste of money IMO.

So true. All public school kids are druggies and private school gets never do drugs.

quote:Ok, if I live in BR when I have kids I will send them to a private school because I want them put in an environment with other kids who care and I want them to have a good high school experience in terms of football games, dances, etc. Do I think if I have a good kid they could still excel in public schools? Yes. But address my other points now

They both do drugs but public school kids dont pay custy prices because they are in class with the dealer. Another reason private school is a scam.

how do you know kids in private schools care more about things than public school kids?

its up to the kid. If they want to learn and work hard then they will. If they wont, they wont. Private school isnt needed to be successful by any means.
Posted on 11/4/14 at 2:45 pm to gaetti15
Hes talking put of his arse. He doesnt even know how to calculate a percentage with all that private school education
