I wouldn't either but when it comes down to it it doesn't much of a difference

You can be a highly educated and motivated person that went to public school or a piece of shite that went to a $15,000 private school

It's all about personal motivation, parenting, the environment you grew up in, and you choices you make in life
I agree completely. But for some reason Burt thinks your parents are dumb douchebags for sending you to a private school

I mean, anyone that is willing to shell out $15,000 for a fricking piece of paper that qualifies you to go to college or get a slightly better job than Burger King is a dumb douchebag

I'm not trolling. I agree with the following quote 100%:

But at the end of the day, I don't want my kids to go through the government-indoctrination that goes on in public schools.

The parents sending their kids to Episcopal and Newman wipe their arse with that amount of money. It is all relative

Cool, then private school is no more than a status symbol

Glad I got a better education than all of them for free. (Public school up north>private school down south)

Yep, yall are lucky up there for sure. If you moved to BR I have a feeling you wouldnt be so keen on sending your kid to the public school. The school I was zoned for had a 53% graduation rate. Pretty solid

I went to a pretty expensive school

It's.....kind of a waste of money. I won't argue that.

I got a good education though. I'd rather waste money than send my kid to Capital or some shite.

Its really just a status symbol so people like lsupride can slap a sticker on the back of their dodge ram that says "my kids an honor roll student at episcopal!" And run around bragging about it at church

Yes, when you get to certain levels I agree the extra money being spent is not really getting you much in terms of actual education

Definitely.

Honestly, though, if for whatever reason I'm still in BR when I have kids I'm not sending them to EHS. Also not sending them to a public school that isn't BRHS. I might just eat them when they're born like some animals do in the wild.
